is your moonbeam face cream a day or night cream?
our moonbeam face cream is recommended for day time use however, it can be used in the pm. **there is a natural spf protection in our cream but not a high content so if you are using it during the day, we highly recommend adding an spf over top - whether that be in your makeup, cream and/or primer.**
 
why should you add our moonbeam face cream to your regimen?
our moonbeam cream provides incredible moisturization while still being very lightweight. this was achieved by combining shea butter with the best moisturization oils to create a luxurious cream that absorbs quickly. the 3 main components that set our cream aside from others is the ratio with grapeseed oil, shea butter + vitamin e.
 
grapeseed oil:
reduces inflammation + hydrates the skin to plump fine lines and wrinkles. grapeseed oil contains powerful antioxidants which have shown can lighten scars + fade pigmentation due to its ability to boost collagen production. because of the antimicrobial properties, it can kill the bacteria deep in the skin which can help treat acne. grapeseed oil is a powerful antioxidant which helps to protect your skin from absorbing the full damage of UV rays.
 
shea butter:
shea butter helps retain moisture due to its fatty acids. since it's loaded with antioxidants + anti-inflammatory agents, it may also keep your skin supple. shea butter also has anti-aging properties which help with promoting collagen production or decreasing the breakdown of collagen that’s already present.
 
vitamin e:
vitamin e is a fat-soluble, essential nutrient with anti-inflammatory properties. vitamin e helps support the immune system, cell function + skin health when it comes to 99% of skin concerns - pigmentation, scarring, acne, inflamation etc. the vitamin e in our moonbeam cream may increase the amount of vitamin E stored within the sebaceous glands.

how to use:
apply a small amount of cream to the face + neck at end of your skincare routine. if you are using in the morning, we recommend applying an spf for added protection on top of our moonbeam face cream - there still is natural uv protection in our cream. tip: if applying in the morning, allow 1-2 minutes for your moonbeam face cream to absorb before applying your spf protection. can be used on the body as well. good for am/pm use.
